A Few Updates

Update 1.

Got a new Television: I mean an old television she recently brought in from Mumbai, though it's new to me. My inability to pay for its stand and a dish net begs me to keep it at the corner of my house until the end of this month. I almost forgot to mention - this brings a new (old) DVD player as well. Makes me look like a rich man :)

Update 2.

A new Gym Equipment as well: This is very important to me since my weight tends to increase as I go. Though I'm not able to utilize it as of the moment, it's sitting at the corner of my house -- waiting for someone to make use of it before it's getting late. Will probably keep this pending until next month.

Update 3.

Ulcer's back: No restriction in the diet and my desire to have only spicy non-veg dish brings my ulcer back, which I almost forgot for a couple of months. Started taking bread and milk like a new born baby to keep myself alive!

Update 4.

Discussion on CM: This is interesting but shameful at the same time. One of my colleagues called out my name as soon as I entered my office. "David, David," he shouted.

"Who is your Chief Minister da?"

I simply ignored him since I found no reason as to why this guy would want to know what the name of our CM is.

"Did you watch the news today (this) morning a da?"
"Dai..Your Chief Minister said that he was a victim of racism in India da.. But today (this) morning he said in the news -- I never said like that da"!! Samma mokey da (which means very stupid/funny man)!! he continued to yell.

I think he was talking about this NEWS

Without much being noticed, we had a small discussion about politics and our CM for the first time in my office :)

Update 5.

Received an Award: We just finished to have a quarterly business review and fortunately, I was awarded for being the best Quality Analyst in our program. It isn't something to brag about, though I would like to mention here among my updates; given I'm kinda running out of words. The award comprises of a transparent trophy, kind of a glass type which has a golf ball on top of it, a green T-shirt bearing our company logo and a big hand bag. My gratitude towards Almighty, who gives me the strength to achieve this award for the second time :)
