Chhanga Hacked Macintosh

Not really, but for the first time in my life, I explored the world of Macintosh in his PC.

For someone who does not know much about computer and its application, there is nothing much to be written about Mac. I observed several distinction between Windows and Mac that's it. The first time I touched the mouse, I was looking for a "Refresh" button which is nowhere to be found in Mac OS. Plus, Ctrl key acts as Alt and vice versa here in Mac.

Each application has been running so very smoothly, when compare with Microsoft Windows. Probably it does not require or take up much memory space that a windows would. Everything opens within a fraction of second, without being further delayed by anything. This is MAC :)

With all my efforts to please Chhanga, I somehow managed to take some screen shots to bring you here. Taking a screen shot using Mac OS is not as easy as taking a screen shot in Windows. However, once you managed to find out how to do, you're done.

First and foremost, the Desktop:

You have the applications down there and several drives at the right side. You don't have to open My or Your Computer to access your Hard Disk drives. Yet, this is MAC :)

Clicking on Two faces down there will take you to the page where you have an access to all the applications. This is called 'Finder.'

ITunes all the way!

Misual.com in MAC OS X using Safari Browser:

I don't have much idea as to when, where or how to compare this Operating System with the others because I'm not a tech savvy who can define which is which. Eventually, I don't know much to write about this but to show here how beautiful it looks.

Well, it's time for me to sleep but I forgot to ask a very important question to the one and only Chhanga before he slept off. How to Shutdown? I clicked all the buttons I could find on the screen but nothing gave me an option to shutdown the system. I googled with no success. All I could find was how to shut it down using a keyboard for computers manufactured by Apple, not by someone in Malaysia or Singapore.

After I have tried all the possible ways to shut it down, I finally located a tiny button at the very left corner of the screen. Yes, I found one more new button which might allow me to shut down the system.

I clicked...the menu came up and at last, I figured out how to shutdown one of the most beautiful operating systems on the planet, Mac OS X.

Want to try this out in your system? You have all the guidelines Here

Excellent review!

Earlier this month, I thought of buying a Macbook.

However, the plan is on standby. Will you spend 60,000 bucks of your hard earned money?

Nice!!!

I remember my confusion too when I first laid my hands on it. hehehe.

@ Ben: I wouldn't mind spending 60,000 of your hard earned money :-D

A small correction in the post. I wrote as though there's no refresh mode in Mac but in fact, it is. Dami (pronounced as Dammy) called me and walked me thru' finding the refresh button at the top left corner of the screen. Sorry, my bad :(

No wonder I found Ben this time :) as I bring out something about the tech trek trek. Do you still work so hard to earn 60,000 Ben? 60,000 only :) As for myself, no doubt in concerning about the value for money.

@Kim - At least you touched the macbook that's a big thing for me bro... :)
