It is God's will to heal you. That's the first and most important thing for you to understand. If your faith is strong and you can believe the Word without wavering (regardless of what circumstances or symptoms come against you), then you'll be able to receive that healing by faith alone.
But that kind of faith takes more than just hearing a few sermons about healing. It takes a deep personal revelation of God's healing power. So, if you haven't yet developed that kind of faith, the doctor is your best friend.
If fear rises up within you when you think about doing without medical help, then go to a doctor. And go in faith! On the other hand, if you have a sure confidence within you that healing is yours strictly by faith, let your faith do its work and receive your healing directly. Whether or not you go to the doctor is not the issue. It is what you do with your faith.
Either way, you can rejoice knowing God is working with you, meeting you at the level of your faith. Thank God for your healing--however it comes!

I strongly believe that God use medicine men to do his work. I do not believe in pure blind faith (although I believe faith is indeed a healer).
Like that short story of the drowning man who cried out to the good Lord for help. Three boats passed him but he refused their help saying God would save him. Finally he drowned. When he met God, he asked why He didn't save him. God replied, "I did send three boats, didn't I?"
Even I do believe that God use doctors and medicine to heal people. On the other hand, I strongly believe that God would save someone even before seeking these doctors if at all they have that faith to receive a direct heal from Him.
may be I do not have enough faith but I a strong believer of medicine healing power :P
"If you have any physical pain and you have a medicine..take it..do not wait" is my philosophy..hahhahaa
