Dog Meat - Nasty?

Of course not, as long as you feed them well. I hate the fact that some people think consumption of dog meat as taboo. If one eats chicken, I see no reason as to why he or she should feel dirty about dog meat as long as they are being fed with the same stuff.

On the contrary, there may be some critics who won't agree with me because of certain stray dogs which are not properly fed and count on daily wastes in the street. Believe me, neither I nor any of my friends eat this kind of Dog. For we are Holy, the food must be Holy as well :)



If you don't eat dog, it's alright. But what do you get in return when you criticize someone who eats dog. You may like chapatti but someone may not like it. It does not necessarily mean that I should look down upon someone who eats the stuff which I don't. It may not be always right to judge people on what they eat or take.

Well, I think you have been warned enough before I really run through the story. Hopefully I can start making a mouthful of Dog meat :)

As a taste enhancer (I guess), a handful of clerodendron, garlic, onion, ginger plus all the available spices in your kitchen will do the trick. Grind them well except clerodendron.

Clerodendron (Phuihnam)




Collect a well chopped dog meat in a clean plate and pour sufficient amount of cooking oil on it. Add all the spices that you have and of course a salt as well. Mix them well and boil it. Once the meat gets boiled enough, add the clerodendron leaves. After a couple of hours, you've got a very special supper!

Advantages of Dog meat:
No such advantages but when you read the word Dog backward, it reads - God. As well if you rearrange the word UISA which means Dog meat, you can make ISUA out of it. May be this is the special nature of Dog Meat.
